Hot Stone Massage Training

Since the birth of time, many ancient cultures have used the healing power of stones for medicinal and spiritual purposes. Harnessing the properties of the volcanic basalt stones, we bathe them in warm water and anoint them with spicy, sensual aromas. Small stones are placed on key energy points on the body, evoking an aura of warmth, whilst the deep penetrating heat from the stones are used to massage the body to release muscular tension and balance the spirit. A ritualistic and spiritual hot and cold stone massage, originally based on the traditional healing practices of the Native American Indians. With this massage, one stroke with a warm stone is equivalent to five to ten with the hand. The result of this massage is five to ten times better than a manual body massage.
